The Chief Imam of Omoniwura Central Mosque, Imam Abdulrasaq Olamide has implored Parents of the graduands of the Walimot Quran of Markaz Nuru Jala to up the Quranic knowledge of the graduands to a worthy and noble stage.
Imam Olamide popularly known as Jala made this call at the Walimot Quran Graduation of the Quran Institute held on sunday at Abule Isale,iju, Ado-Odo Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Imam Olamide, while congratulating the Graduands said" the importance of today's graduation is for the parents to ensure that the graduands continue with the studies of the noble Quran to a stage where they too will become renown Islamic clerics by enrolling at higher Islamic study institutes like Sheik Al-Ilori Markaz in Agege, Sheik Al-Gamawiy Markaz in Ajegunle among others
Also on the belief that woman does not need Quranic knowledge to a certain levels, Imam Olamide described this as a misconception that should be done away with, adding that woman with adequate knowledge of the Quran can apply it any anytime in their daily living.
In his brief remarks, the Spiritual father of the day, Sheik Musbadeen Olabode congratulated the parents and graduands. He also enjoined them to use the noble Quran as a guard and guide as they grow up.
The graduands; Abdulrasaq Oderinde,Suliyat Atisola, Aishat Babarinde, and Hassan Bashir who recited various verses of the holy Ouran to the admiration of their Alfa, Uztaz AbdJelil Olabode and all people present at the ceremony were presented with their certificates.
Pupils of the Markaz also entertained parents and guests to special renditions of Arabic and Quranic words,display and songs.
