HOW SIKIRU AYINDE BARRISTER'S DEPUTY COMMANDER, TAJUDEEN ALADE VANISHED TO DATE

Alhaji Tajudeen Alade was one of Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister's backup singers. He was one of Barrister's followers before he officially joined his band in the mid-70s as a backup singer. He was dedicated and loyal to his boss.

He was one of Barrister's favorite band boys. Alade was one of the band boys that followed Barrister to the UK in 1978 on his first-ever foreign musical tour.

Tajudeen Alade whom Barrister gave the title of deputy commander was one of the few Fuji Londoners band members who stayed with him when Oyadolu and about twenty other members deserted him to form their Fuji band in 1980.

In 1986 or thereabouts, Barrister gave him his freedom, he was given sets of musical instruments and Barrister released some of his band boys such as Isiaka Adeyimika to join Tajudeen Alade's band. The band managed to release some albums, but not sure if the albums were commercially successful.

A family source asserted Tajudeen Alade left home in November 2009 to Ijabe his hometown to attend the Ijabe Day celebration, Sadly he did not reach Ijabe on that fateful day and he never returned home. The Ijabe-born Fuji bard disappeared without a trace. He was declared missing ever since and nothing is heard of him till today.
