The founder of Ade Ti De Foundation Adedayo Adelanwa on Tuesday visited his ward, Ward 3, Oke Lantoro,in Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun to officially declare his intention to contest for the position of Honourable Member, Ogun State House of Assembly, representing Abeokuta South Constituency 1.
The visit was warmly received by party members, ward executive, who turned out in large numbers to show their support and solidarity.
The Zone Chairman, Omooba Dasaolu, welcomed Adedayo Adelanwa and introduced him to the ward members and leaders. In his address, he spoke highly of Ade Ti De, describing him as a committed, loyal and resourceful member of the party who has continually demonstrated a passion for community development and good governance. He further expressed confidence that Ade Ti De would represent the constituency effectively and uphold the values of the party if elected.
In his remarks, the Ward 3 All Progressives Congress,APC, Party Chairman, Hon. Adedayo Sugar commended Ade Ti De for his courage, confidence and humility in returning home to declare his ambition among his people. He acknowledged him as a true son of the soil and stated that his aspiration is a welcome development for the ward. Hon.sugar also took time to introduce key ward leaders and stakeholders to Ade Ti De, pledging the wardrobe full support for his political ambition.
Addressing the gathering,Comrade Solola Olalekan (Awikonko) spoke passionately on behalf of Ade Ti De. He appealed to members and leaders of the ward to support him wholeheartedly, describing him as a vibrant youth who is ready to serve with dedication. According to Awikonko, “politically, we may not all be in the same team, but let us unite and work for this man; he is ‘Ade Laja’ a good name we are giving him. His words drew applause from the audience, as many appreciated his call for unity and collective support.
In her remarks,Mrs. Sonde Benaice Adeola offered prayers for Adedayo Adelanwa’s success and shared words of encouragement with him. She urged him to remain steadfast, humble and focused in his journey, reminding him that leadership is a call to serve with sincerity and dedication. Her prayer session was followed by inspiring words from other party women and elders who reaffirmed their trust in his leadership qualities.
Also present at the gathering, Mr. Saheed Balogun led another round of prayers, asking for divine guidance, protection and wisdom for Ade Ti De as he embarks on this political mission. He appealed to ward members and leaders to give him their maximum support and to see his ambition as a collective project that will bring pride and progress to Ward 3 and Abeokuta South Constituency 1.

As a sign of appreciation and support for the ward,Adedayo Adelanwa Ade Ti De donated a cash gift and presented a public address system (PAS) to the Ward Party Chairman to enhance the smooth running of party activities. The event concluded on a joyful note, with refreshments distributed to all members. The atmosphere was lively, filled with smiles, cheers and optimism as everyone celebrated the homecoming and declaration of one of their own.
