ABEOKUTA - Mr Adedapo ifeoluwa Adefuwa, a young man and resident of number 1. Japo oke odo area of Adigbe Abeokuta in Obafemi Owode local government area of Ogun state in south western Nigeria has been declared wanted by the Nigeria Police for an alleged homosexual offense he committed in 2022. Newslifeonline gathered exclusively that one guy called Abiodun Agbabiaka who was recently caught in Adigbe for having sexual intercourse with a partner of his called Semiu Akinlade in his father’s house in Adigbe had divulged to Police authority that he had been a gay from his youth and he also mentioned Adefuwa as one of his partners that he used to have sexual orgies with in the community. Agbabiaka explained further that he decided to pick another lover in Semiu Ige when Adefuwa travelled abroad. He further confessed that he was one that initiated Adefuwa into homosexuality sometime in 2008 before he ever thought of traveling abroad.
He concluded his confessional statement by begging the Police Investigating officers to have mercy on him and pleaded that the case should not be escalated to level of prosecution because of the dire consequences for homosexuality in Nigerian constitution.
After painstakingly digesting his confession, The Investigating Police Officers in charge of the case at the Zone 2, told him bluntly that the law will definitely take its course and the IPOs compiled their report on the case and declared Adefuwa his lover who is now abroad wanted and they insisted that the alleged abroad based partner must be arrested to face full wrath of the law anytime he steps his feet on Nigerian Soil.
Agbabiaka and his new lover Akinlade were then detained at Zone 2 oke-ilewo, for further investigation and prosecution in court.
Newslife visited the home of the Adefuwas in Adigbe to find out the reaction of the family on the implication of their son in the highly celebrated case in the neighborhood. The online medium met the father, Prophet Adeyinka Adefuwa who expressed dismay and disclosed that he had also disowned his son for bringing shame to the family.
" I have been to Zone 2 at Oke-ilewo following the invitation of the Police based on the confession of Agbabiaka that indicted my son studying abroad. The allegations were evident and the family has decided to disown Adedapo for this taboo and shameful act.I assured the Police that I will personally hand him over moment he steps his foot on Nigeria 's soil ".Pastor Adefuwa stated.
