After Confederation of African Football, CAF, mandated all club’s to have a women’s team before they can participate in any continental competitions, Remo Stars owner, Mr Kunle Soname bought Lakeside Queens' NPFL-Premiership slot.
The Ikenne-based team will be making their debut in the top-tier Nigeria Women's Football League for the 2023/24 Premiership season.
