Founder The SixthSense Initiative, Abiodun Lasile Bags Bola Ajibola Community Service Award


 




The Promoter  SixthSense Initiative, Dr Abiodun Lasile among other notable Nigerians  on Friday, the 22nd of March 2024 were conferred with the Bola Ajibola Community Service Award, as part of the 18th Founder's Day Celebration  of the citadel of Higher learning


A letter of nomination for the award which was also shared with Dr. Lasile  was communicated to the awardee by the University’s Registrar and Secretary to the Council, Barrister Z.A. Ajibola.


In line with the programme of events by the institution, the Founder’s Day Celebration took place on Thursday 21st March, 2024 with a novelty match played   at the Wahab Folayiwo Stadium located in the University.


On Friday, March 22nd, a public lecture titled: “Competence and Self-Determination For Growing Leaders” is to be delivered by the Lead Consultant/CEO, Knowledge and Resource Centre, Dr.(Mrs) Tamramat Mosun Bello-Olusoga.


Venue is the Bola Ajibola Auditorium on campus where the award event will also hold.


Dr.  Lasile who is a literary icon and Vice Chairman  of the Association of Nigeria Authors is considered for the award on account of his passion for the promotion of reading culture and development of the youth populace among other initiatives.


He has grown, over the years, from being a noteworthy broadcaster at the Nigerian Television Authority to attain the enviable image of a national opinion moulder.


Mr. Lasile who is the Orunto of Owu Kingdom is a member of Iwarefa Afobaje Owu, a Kingmaker and a member of Owu Traditional Council.
