Finidi George has reportedly resigned from his role as the Super Eagles Head Coach.
NFF wanted him to continue in his role as Head Coach and they bring in a foreign Technical Adviser, but he decided to resign and allow the new foreign coach to be in charge of the team without him.
Finidi won the Cup of Nations as a player on 1994.played in the World Cup 1994 and the Eagles ranked 5th in the world
He won champions league in 1995 with Ajax as a star winger .
Finidi as well captained Real Betis of Spain. He would later play briefly for Mallorca and Ipswich
After this,he was appointed Director of Football at Betis.
Finidi won Nigerian Premier league title as coach of Enyimba in 2023.
