Ogun State Chairman of People's Democratic Party,Dr Sikirullahi Ogundele has been honoured with Asiwaju Ojogbon Oloselu by Boseri Newspaper.
Boseri Newspaper,a leading Yoruba Community Newspaper attributed the political acumen, remarkable contributions and footprints of the awardee in the socio-economic and political spheres of Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole as parts of factors that earned the ebullient political titan the award.
At the decoration and presentation held on Friday,at Neu- Gate Hotel, Leme Abeokuta, the Publisher of Boseri Newspaper, Johnson Akinpelu described Dr. Ogundele as a person imbued with profound wisdom by God. Who has made indelible and impactful strides right from when he was the chairman of Ifo Local Government, Member of OGHA representing Ifo State Constituency.
" He is an excellent, quintessential, personality who combined politics with businesses and as well never faltered in his educational development.
" Just as he has never faltered in upping himself academically, Dr. Ogundele remained stable and steadfast with the political party he had been known with,PDP.
"It is in view of these outstanding qualities that we are today honouring him with this prestigious award".
In brief remarks, Mr. Johnson Onifade stated that the Asiwaju Ojogbon Oloselu is a man whose character, political sagacity, steadfastness would continue to earn him revered honours. He prayed that God would continue to strengthen the awardee.
In his response, Dr. Ogundele relished the cordial relationship that has been existing between him and the publisher of Boseri Newspaper and the veteran journalist,Mr. Onifade. He added that the honour would further spur him on in maintaining the sterling qualities that have seen him earned myriads of awards from reputable media houses, clubs, associations and organisations.
