A community leader, Nnamdi Nwachinemere Ebizie alleged to be tipping off security agencies on the criminal activities of a dreaded Vigilante group in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo state has cried out over incessant death threats.
According to a reliable source, the dreaded group took the advantage of the call by Ipob for the realization of Biafra Nation for the perpetrations of evils and revenge on perceived enemies and Anti- elements against Indigenous People of Biafra,Ipob.
Ebizie,who has gone under following the destruction of his thriving Palm oil business, revealed that the dreaded group often kidnapped high net worth individuals for ransome, engaged in rituals before security agencies bursted their hide out and arrested some of the members while others escaped and later regrouped .
Ebizie, who was once a member of defunct Movement for the actualization of Biafra Nation ,Massob, hinted from his hide out that on the Monday Sit- at- Home order in the East by Ipob, the dreaded group under the guise of enforcing the order always unleashed untold attacks on house holds and individuals who they accused of not contributing financially and supporting their cause.
It was also gathered that Ebizie and some individuals who were perceived to be unsupportive and non chanlant to the causes of the dreaded group suffered nearly death attacks following the December 2024 Joint Security Taskforce onslaught and arrest of some suspected members of Ipob in the State.
The former Massob member who added that the safety of his wife and four children are not secured, as some people alleged to be moles in the community who had ran away,while still having their children in the Ehime Mbano, regretted as some of their family members or grown children were kidnapped, killed in retaliation of security forces onslaught on the dreaded group.
He, therefore wish and pray not to have any issue or matters that will necessitate him stepping his foot in Nigeria and
Umuanunu-nsu,Ehime, Mbano for the rest of his life.
