The Offa Gbagura traditional Council of Chiefs is set to install Alhaji Kolawole Oderinde as new Oganla of Offa Gbagura kingdom.
He is one of the sons of the Oderinde descendants of Gbagura Kingdom in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Kolawole Oderinde, will be installed as Oganla Offa Gbagura on Saturday, August 23rd.
The installation is scheduled to be performed by the Offa Gbagura Traditional Council, headed by the Balogun Offa Gbagura, High Chief Abiodun Owolabi.
The installation rites are also billed to take place at the residence of the Balogun Offa, while guests, families, and associates from far and near will be entertained at 80 Oja Agbo Road, Abeokuta.
The Oderinde family has been one of the prominent lineages in Offa Gbagura, given the contributions of sons and daughters of the compound to many activities initiated for the progress, growth, and development of Offa Gbagura Nation, culturally, traditionally, socially, and politically.
The new Oganla, Kolawole Oderinde, is an Ekiti-based businessman and community leader in Aramoko Ekiti. He has been one of the leading rallying figures of the Oderinde Descendants.
The position became vacant in 2011 following the demise of the title holder, Late Chief Rasaq Oderinde.
