Remo Bye-Election: NNPP Candidate Pledges to Promote Success, Wealth among Constituents..

... Decries Meager utilisation of Constituency allowance

The candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the upcoming Remo Federal Constituency bye-election, Hon. Olusegun Razaq Shofowora has pledged to put smiles on the faces of the people of Remo Federal Constituency if elected. Shofowora, who described his foray into politics as "a season for a reason," added that his past philanthropic contributions to the well-being of others prompted the calls and massive support he has been receiving, even from people who have not seen him before but only heard about his impactful initiatives and contributions to the lives of widows and widowers.

"A door-to-door empowerment targeting 500 to 1,000 constituents will start with 100. It will be all-encompassing and not based on party affiliations alone. Just give me details of people who are in dire need of help, and we will be right there to meet them."

"Out of my allowance, we will create an NGO, and those who have been elevated will be encouraged to give back one percent of their blessings to the NGO. So, from the 100 who have benefited, It will trickle down to 200, 300, 500, and so on, thereby promoting success and wealth among our people."

The ex-banker, who described the dividends being delivered to the constituents as meager and akin to "using a matchstick to drop water into someone's mouth," added that he would disclose whatever he gets as constituency allowance openly, pledging to make judicious use of the funds.

"We will promote success and wealth among our people through the implementation of projects based on the needs of the constituency, not what we deem fit for them. This will cover areas such as education, health, farming, unemployment, social welfare, care for the aged, widows, widowers, orphans, and youth engagements."

"My mission, even before joining politics, has been to send over 200 youths abroad for studies. At old age, I will be happy if out of 200, 30 will have cause to be grateful to God. This will give me eternal joy."

Shofowora added that the massive backing and the political name "RSS" were testaments to his past philanthropic contributions. He described the governorship candidate of the party in the 2023 election, Ambassador Ajadi, as a quintessential leader who always identifies capable hands for the progress of the NNPP in Ogun State and the South West.
