Ogun State Governor, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun on Monday convened a high-level meeting with heads of security agencies in the state, underlining the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration’s proactive approach to safeguarding peace and public safety.
The meeting, held in Iperu, provided a platform to critically review the state’s security landscape and assess emerging challenges, reinforcing a collaborative, multi-agency strategy.
Governor Abiodun emphasized that the best time to strengthen security is during periods of peace. He noted that Ogun State’s position as one of Nigeria’s most peaceful and investment-friendly states is the result of the APC’s people-focused and forward-thinking governance model.
“Maintaining this peaceful status requires foresight, continuous evaluation, and pre-emptive measures,” Governor Abiodun said, describing the meeting as essential for enhancing inter-agency coordination and overall readiness.
Reaffirming the administration’s dedication to the “Building Our Future Together” agenda, he pledged ongoing support to all security agencies, stressing that their collaboration is crucial for protecting residents, investors, and visitors alike, while upholding the progressive ideals of the APC.
