Team Nigeria Boxing Set for the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games.

Team Nigeria (Boxing) is set to depart the country tonight, Sunday, November 2nd, for Saudi Arabia, ahead of the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games scheduled to take place from November 7th to 21st, 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Competition Days: 4th - 21st November.

🥊Boxing action begins on November 5th.

The Nigerian contingent will feature two boxers. One male and one female, alongside one coach, who will proudly fly the nation’s flag at the Games.

Team List:

🥇 MALE: Raheem Ridwan – Welterweight (65kg)

🥇 FEMALE: Adeshina Zainab – Flyweight (51kg)

The team will be led by Coach  Oyeleye Abayomi who expressed confidence in his boxers’ preparation and determination to make the country proud on the international stage.

As the countdown begins, all eyes will be on Team Nigeria as they aim to bring glory home from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 🇳🇬🥊🇸🇦
