The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) is set to officially unveil its flagship publication, the "2024 Compendium of Youth Activities in Ogun State," a 116-page document showcasing the ingenuity and resilience of Ogun State's young people.
Top government officials, including Deputy Governor Engr. (Mrs.) Noimot Salako-Oyedele, have praised the publication, describing it as a fitting tribute to the hard work, creativity, and community spirit of Ogun State's youth. Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, emphasized the compendium's role in documenting youth contributions to the state, stating it's a testament to the partnership between the Ogun State Government and the NYCN ¹.
Other notable figures, such as Director-General of the National Sports Commission, Hon. Bukola Olopade, and Chairman of the House Committee on Youth and Sports, Hon. Lukmon Atobatele, have also commended the publication, highlighting its strategic importance in planning future youth programs and showcasing the transformative potential of Ogun State's youth.
Cabinet members, including Commissioners for Forestry, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Culture and Tourism, and Physical Planning and Urban Development, have also extended their support, praising the NYCN for galvanizing youth engagement and promoting cultural heritage and youth empowerment.
The official unveiling is expected to be a milestone event, marking a new era of documented excellence for Ogun State's youth leadership .
