Allwell Ademola was a talented plus-sized Nigerian actress, movie producer, director, and singer.


She was born on August 9, 1982, in Ogun State, Nigeria. Notably, she was the granddaughter of Nigeria’s first indigenous Chief Justice, Sir Adetokunbo Ademola. Building on her family legacy, she graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife


Allwell started acting when she was very young and became well-known in 2008. She starred in popular movies such as Larodo Ojo, You or I (2013), Omo Emi (2017), and Aye Keji.


Her first experience on a movie set was with veteran actor Jide Kosoko. She also wrote the script for Saheed Balogun’s movie Eti Keta, where she acted alongside Kate Henshaw. Allwell shone brightly in Yoruba Nollywood with her skills as an actress, director, producer, and singer. She was loved for her strong performances and her ability to bring characters to life.


She stayed single throughout her life and shared her personal story in interviews. Despite challenges in her private life, she showed great strength and focus on her work. Allwell earned respect from fans and colleagues for her hard work and many achievements in the industry. She also mentored younger actors, including Rotimi Salami (often called Roimi Salami in some mentions), whose career she helped shape.


Sadly, Allwell passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 43.

Husband – Personal Life

Allwell Ademola’s personal life was marked by deep sadness from adulthood onward. She was engaged to be married, but two months before the wedding, her fiancé was killed in a violent attack. Reports say he was shot while they were on the phone together. This tragedy happened around 2005 and left her heartbroken for a long time.


Following this loss, Allwell began a relationship with her late fiancé’s best man, who had been her close friend for years. Their romance lasted about eight months before ending.

Death


Allwell Ademola passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the age of 43. Reports say she suffered a sudden heart attack at her home in Lagos. A neighbour rushed her to Ancilla Hospital in Agege, but she was pronounced dead there.
