Ahead of the 2027 general elections, a trader, Osifo Stanley from Edo State, has emerged as an early contender after purchasing the N100 million presidential nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Stanley reportedly obtained the form on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, signaling the beginning of internal party contests ahead of the next election cycle.
