Saudi boxing powerbroker Turki Alalshikh
is pushing for a 2:00 a.m. UK ring walk time for the proposed Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua* heavyweight showdown at Wembley Stadium.
The plan, according to sources close to the negotiations, is designed to align the mega-fight with 9:00 p.m. ET in the United States to maximize American prime-time television viewership and global streaming numbers.
The fight is yet to be officially confirmed, but Alalshikh is reportedly keen to stage the all-British blockbuster in London while flipping the start time to suit US broadcasters.
