Oderinde Emerges Ogun NUJ Federated Chapel Vice Chairman Unopposed


​ABEOKUTA — Members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, Federated Chapel, have elected Comrade Idris Oderinde as Vice Chairman of the chapel, following his emergence unopposed during the Chapel 's election on Friday.
​Oderinde, the Lead Reporter at Newslifeonline, secured the position without opposition after no other aspirant contested the seat, paving the way for his emergence.
​Members of the chapel described his election as a reflection of their confidence in his leadership qualities, dedication to union affairs, and continuous contributions to the growth and unity of journalists within the fold.
​Reacting to his election, Oderinde expressed appreciation to members for the trust reposed in him, pledging to justify their support through transparency and effective service.
​He assured that the new executive body would prioritise the welfare of journalists, foster unity, and introduce initiatives aimed at advancing members' professional development.
​The newly elected Vice Chairman further called for maximum cooperation from all members, noting that building a vibrant chapel requires collective effort, mutual respect, and adherence to the core values of the NUJ.

​Other executive members elected to steer the affairs of the chapel include Orishabuyi Oluwafemi as Chairman, Osoba Olajide as Financial Secretary, Yusuf Adeleke as Treasurer, and Fatai Sobande as Auditor.
