The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Bode Ojajuni, has ordered an immediate manhunt for a suspect identified as Kola over the alleged sexual molestation of a 17-year-old boy in Abeokuta.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Oluseyi B. Babaseyi, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abeokuta.
According to the statement, the victim, accompanied by his parents, reported the incident at the Adigbe Police Division on September 8, 2026, at about 5:00 pm.
The teenager alleged that the suspect sexually assaulted him on three separate occasions in January 2026 and used threats to keep him silent.
Following the formal complaint, police operatives escorted the victim to a medical facility within the Adigbe axis for examination, while detectives commenced a full-scale investigation into the matter.
Babaseyi clarified that the command was only made aware of the incident when the formal report was lodged on Tuesday.

The police command assured members of the public that the case is receiving an urgent, professional, and sensitive investigation, reiterating its resolve to protect children and vulnerable individuals across the state.
