Finally Watched JAGUNJAGUN - It held me spellbound for 2 good hours.

At a point, it felt like I was watching a Yoruba Shaolin plot. This is quite different from the usual  Arakangudu-Danguro style of "danafunya", with barrage of Sakabula barrrel gun and loads of Ayajo with Ogede as incantations staged inside farm

pathways or by the streamside-- to know who truly sabi, and who be the actor or the boss, which can be quite interesting too.

Femi Adebayo, simply pour out himself into this, and explored almost every actor and Actresses he can think of in the industry. It's only Sanyeri and Golugo I no see there 😊. May be them no dey the caucus (Joking). Oh may be Lalude, Baba Wande, Saka, Okele, Elesho etc, but he did showcased some of the best, -- his father Oga Bello, Peju Ogunmola, Dele Odule, Yinka Quadri, Ayo Mogaji, Alapini, Muyiwa Ademola, Elebuibon, Ojopagogo and loads of other A-list actors many of who just did one or two scenes like Odunlade, Chatta, Ijebu, etc..

It's another star-studded movie and I like it. I love seeing people I know taking new roles and the role of Lateef Adedimeji is the most interesting part for me - raised by a tree as an orphan and got his power, which helped him to fight back the onslaught melted on his native home and murderers of his father, a wood carver.

Roles taken and efforts made by lead actors like Itele, Afod, Bukunmi, Fathia, Aisha Lawal, Yemi Elesho, Marcaroni and others, are also well appreciated.

For someone who just like plain Yoruba settings movies with dose of laughter even amidst different storyline, I kinda like the scene played by Woli Agba and Jigan Baba Oja, and Afod where he shot some folks on arrival to the war training camp, of Ogundiji. 

These are just few of the scenes that put smiles on my face in the whole movie, filmed with so much seriousness on the next line of action between the power filled Master, Ogundiji and his students turned slaves.

They should be helping us put some comic scenes into movies abeg, these part still give us good memories. I still remember many funny scenes in Fabunmi Okemesi, Ogbori Elemosho, Lagidigba, Osaa Eleye etc. Just a funny character of Kukute with his big belle, fooling himself in war camp will open teeth. JagunJagun still make us miss some of these movies. The storyline is not so great, I'm hoping it drags more.

I find the choice of names like Gbotija, Gbogunmi, Wehinwo quite fascinating and the best of all, IroyinOgunKiitan, shortened to Kiitan, oh what a name.

Above all, I love the suspense created by the appearance of Chatta at the last scene, it makes you to keep asking questions of What more? Good job to Adebayo TIJJANI and Femi on this.

Good Movie I must say. Well filmed, Average Storyline, Good soundtrack and, Good Casts. But after watching, I still miss the old war films, and I feel like Watching that year 2000 Epic Yoruba Movie Okun-Eru again.

JagunJagun is cool. Simple story with many frightening scenes that are well edited and could make you have a feel of what war-torn village looks like in ancient days - which really bring out the title, JagunJagun. You should watch.
