The Nigerian Police Force says it has successfully restored normalcy to Ile-Epo in the Abule Egba area of Lagos State following clashes between youths and hoodlums
Newslife gathered that the fracas was as a result of winning on a betting platform generally known as Baba Ijebu betting It was also learnt that the payouts argument escalated the fracas

Operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Lagos State Taskforce, operatives from Area M Command, Agbado - Oke Odo Police Division and Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency are in Agbado – Oke Odo Market restoring law and order after a fracas between rival miscreants resulted in violence and fire incidence in the market.
Some suspects have been arrested and peace restored while Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service has put out the fire in the market.
Law enforcement agencies are still on ground in and around the market.
Many people were injured after hoodlums clashed in the Ile-Epo area
It was gathered that a fight started in the market situated in the area on Wednesday night and continued till Thursday morning. Some shops were set on fire while some goods were destroyed in the process.
