As part of his commitment to advancing his academic and professional qualifications, the Chief Executive Officer of Clutus Global Resources Limited, Mr. Toheeb Shomorin, has earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Crescent University, Abeokuta.
He as well encouraged his colleagues and aspiring professionals to remain positive, stay true to their values, and never compromise their integrity in the pursuit of academic and career goals.
Speaking with Alternative News after defending his dissertation, the broadcaster and estate manager described the academic journey as demanding yet ultimately fulfilling. He noted that despite facing significant challenges, he was able to persevere and succeed through determination and resilience.
"For anyone who wants to go far in life, acquiring knowledge, especially in one’s area of specialization, is essential. Success is not handed out freely; individuals must strive for excellence," Shomorin stated.
He emphasized that the path to greatness requires focus and prayer, acknowledging that while obstacles are inevitable, they can be overcome with the right mindset and persistence.
He expressed heartfelt appreciation to the external examiner, Professor Maruf Oladejo of LAUTECH; Head of Department, Professor T.T. Siyanbola, FCA; and his supervisor, Dr. A.O. Nurudeen, for their fatherly guidance.
He also thanked his colleagues, Alhaji Durosimi, Lukmon Okedara, and Temitope Mabadeje, as well as his entire family for their unwavering support throughout his academic journey.
