Prominent Politician and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. Waliu Taiwo has reiterated call to people of Ogun East and Central to give maximum support to Ogun West to realise Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi's) ambition to govern the Ogun State.
Hon.Taiwo, made the call on Thursday at the inauguration of State, Senatorial and Local Governments Executives of Ogun State for Next Level Yayi Support Group. Speaking at the event held at Oke-ido in Abeokuta, the State capital, Hon. Taiwo, who the group is also routing for the Senatorial seat of Ogun West, described Yayi
as a quintessential performer whose positive, developmental strides in many spheres are being enjoyed in all the 3 Senatorial district in Ogun State.
He enjoined the people of the state to dispel the rumor that Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola not being from the Ogun West, adding that two of Past Governors of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba and Sen. Gbenga Daniel faced similar tribulations during their attempt to govern Ogun State.
"Wonderful projects being implemented by Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola in Ogun West,some are being extended to Ogun East and Central. This is the first time that such is being witnessed in the history of developmental politics in Ogun State .
He stressed that almost everybody is with Yayi.This time, by the Grace of God, Ogun West is determined as we have gotten a formidable aspirant. We are ready and as you can see, 2025 getting to the end, Nobody yet declaring aspiration for the number one seat from Ogun West, they are waiting for outsiders to sponsor them, such will not happen because we will combine determination with persuasion so as to allow equity and justice to prevail".
Also speaking, the State Coordinate of the Group, Engr.Babatunde Sobowale stated that the group was set up to champion and mobilise massively for Yayi's ambition to be Governor of Ogun State in 2027.
On Ogun State For Next Level Yayi Support Group's backing for Hon. Taiwo 's Senate aspiration, Shobowale described him as experienced and well exposed Politician of note in Ogun State, worthy of Ogun West Senatorial seat.
He disclosed that the group's membership spread across the 2O Local Governments in the State.
In his remarks, the newly inaugurated Ogun East Coordinator, Otunba Bolaji Odusanya stated that the group has been playing active in politics and electoral processes in Ogun State.
"This time, we are fully determined to ensure victory for Yayi's ambition right from the party level to general election.
Same for Hon. Waliu Taiwo's bidding for the Ogun West Senatorial seat, As Ogun State for Next Level is carrying banner of Yayi, we will be doing same for Layi too"
Meanwhile, Ogun Central Senatorial Coordinator of the group, Chief Okanlawon Oyewole commended Senator Yayi's developmental style, noting that Ogun West Senatorial is witnessing rapid changes since Aremo Adeola assumed office as Senator.
Chief Oyewole enjoined people of Yewa and Ogun State as whole to rally round support for Yayi's ambition and break the record that since creation of Ogun State, Yewa become governor.
Highlights of the event include inauguration of State, Senatorial and Local Governments Executives, launching of Yayi+Layi stickers.
