A prominent politician and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Waliu Taiwo, has called on the people of Ogun East and Central to support Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi's) governorship ambition in 2027.

A support group align with governorship aspiration of Distinguished Senator (Aremo) Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi).
He described Yayi as a "quintessential performer" whose developmental strides are being enjoyed across the three senatorial districts in Ogun State. We are ready, and as you can see, 2025 is getting to an end, nobody is yet declaring aspiration for the number one seat from Ogun West. They are waiting for outsiders to sponsor them, but such will not happen because we will combine determination with persuasion to allow equity and justice to prevail."
