In a press release, made available to Journalists on Friday,Chief Abiodun Lasile, Founder/Coordinator of The SixthSense Initiative, urged Nigerians to adopt a national outlook that positions volunteering as a cornerstone of development, service to humanity, and opportunity for growth.
The initiative celebrated the power of selfless service and the volunteers who make a difference in their communities. The statement quoted UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who said, "Together, we can grow a global movement of volunteers, and build a brighter, more caring future for all."
The SixthSense Initiative called on individuals to lend their time and talents to support those around them, fostering a culture of service and shaping responsible leaders.
