Praises, Prayers, Preachings took the centre stage on Thursday as the Osile of Oke -Ona Egba, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso celebrate 88th birthday.
At the two in one event; God's festival 2026 which was the 9th Edition of the Praise Unlimited held at the Amphitheater, OOPL , Abeokuta, thousands of eminent Personalities including monarchs, clergymen traditional chiefs, captains of industry joined the iconic Monarch to celebrate his 32,120 days on earth.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Alake of Egbaland,Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo stated that God has been doing wonders in the life of the monarch and that is why Osiele always love to praise God.
" God loves being praised always and those who praises God at all time always receive abundant blessings from God"
Oba Gbadebo while congratulating Oba Tejuoso, prayed for longer life for the monarch and for all and sundry.
In their seperate Goodwill messages,Chief Judge of Ogun State, Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu and Commander Ebenezer Obey fabiyi expressed gratitude to Almighty God on behalf of the celebrant and paid tribute to the Osiele's commitment to the growth and development of Oke Ona.
They added that the revered king has been a praiser of Almighty God at all time and his reign has continued to witness glad tidy in Oke -Ona and in the lives people of the kingdom.
The Osile of Oke Ona Egba,Oba Adedapo Tejuoso, while expressing gratitude to all present at the event, enjoined people to put God first in all their doings, adding that Jesus is the light.
" We should not allow darkness to overcome us, and to prevent this, we should embrace Jesus into our lives"
Expressing gratitude to Alake and other kings present at the occasion, Oba Tejuoso stated that Egba is now witnessing positive turn around,adding that unity is the bedrock of the positive turnaround. " We are all now in unison,"gbogbo wa pata lati dapomodotun"He prayed that all would be alive to enjoy the town for good.
Wife of Former President of Nigeria, Mrs Bola Obasanjo,Chief Mrs Olufunke Amosun, the Okoyas, Chief Doja Adewolu, Chief Medical Director of FMC, Abeokuta,Dr Sarah Titilola Ibiyemi among others dignitaries were present at the occasion.
The event featured spectacular performances by Praise 99, Praise Unlimited, Omo Rose of Sharon, Cathedral Choir , Muyiwa Dynamics, Sarah Praise, Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey, Baba Ayewa, and Sewele Jesu.
