God's Favourite: Osile Marks 88 Years with Praises,Prayers

 




The Osiele of Oke-Ona Egba, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso, celebrated his 88th birthday on Thursday, with praises, prayers, and preachings taking center stage. The event, combined with the 9th Edition of the Praise Unlimited, was held at the Amphitheater, OOPL, Abeokuta, and attracted thousands of eminent personalities, including monarchs, clergymen, traditional chiefs, and captains of industry.


The Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, noted that God has been doing wonders in the life of the monarch, and that is why Osiele always loves to praise God. "God loves being praised always, and those who praise God at all times always receive abundant blessings from God," Oba Gbadebo said, congratulating Oba Tejuoso and praying for his long life.


The Chief Judge of Ogun State, Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu, and Commander Ebenezer Obey Fabiyi, expressed gratitude to Almighty God on behalf of the celebrant and paid tribute to the Osiele's commitment to the growth and development of Oke Ona.


In his response, Oba Tejuoso enjoined people to put God first in all their doings, saying, "We should not allow darkness to overcome us, and to prevent this, we should embrace Jesus into our lives." He thanked the Alake and other kings present, stating that Egba is now witnessing a positive turnaround, adding that unity is the bedrock of the positive turnaround.


The event featured spectacular performances by various gospel artistes, including Praise 99, Praise Unlimited, Omo Rose of Sharon, Cathedral Choir, Muyiwa Dynamics, Sarah Praise, Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey, Baba Ayewa, and Sewele Jesu. 

Notable attendees included  Chief Mrs. Bola Obasanjo, Chief Mrs. Olufunke Amosun, the Okoyas, Chief Doja Adewolu, and Chief Medical Director of FMC, Abeokuta,Dr. Titilayo Ibiyemi among others.

Earlier at his residence, 88th Birthday Day service was  held where  The African Church, Egba Diocese, Cathedral of St. James Archbishop, Most Revd. David Oyekunke Akinremi with other clergymen from other churches ministered, praised and offered prayers for the Oba Tejuoso and his household.
