Palm Wine and Love: Shalewa Ologuro's Unique V-Day Gift to Nigeria holds today

 



The CEO of Salewa Ologuro, Titilayo Victoria Savage is on a mission to put African culture on the global map - one glass of palm wine at a time. In an exclusive interview, she shares her vision of promoting the traditional Nigerian drink with a modern twist.


"We're going back to our roots, but also embracing the new world," she explains. "By blending tradition with modernity, we can create something unique that showcases our culture and gets people talking."


With five years of experience in the business, Titilayo has already made waves, meeting dignitaries, setting tables for esteemed guests, and even taking palm wine abroad. "The journey has been beautiful so far," she says. "I've met kings, traveled out of the country, and introduced people to the rich flavors of palm wine. It's been an incredible ride."





And for Valentine's Day , Titilayo is  hosting a palm wine spectacular event- a dream she's been nurturing. "I want to bring people together to celebrate love and culture," she says. "It's going to be a beautiful event, and I'm putting my mind and energy into it." Today's event promises to be an immersive experience, with palm wine tastings, traditional music, and local cuisine.


Titilayo's passion for palm wine is infectious, and she's inspiring others to explore their own cultural heritage. "When we embrace our culture, we open doors to new possibilities," she says. "I'm excited to share this journey with my community and the world." With her innovative approach and dedication, Titilayo is rewriting the narrative around palm wine and Nigerian culture.


When asked about her plans for the future, Titilayo smiles, "I'm just getting started. There are so many stories to tell, and I'm ready to tell them through Salewa Ologuro."
