Former Nigeria international striker Michael Eneramo has tragically passed away after collapsing during a local friendly match in Ungwan Yelwa, Kaduna, on Friday morning.
The Ex Super Eagles forward had reportedly completed the entire first half and returned for the second half before suddenly going down just five minutes after the restart.
Early reports indicate he may have suffered a cardiac arrest during the game.
He was immediately attended to and efforts were made to save his life, but he was later confirmed dead.
Eneramo, who was born on November 26, 1985, in Kaduna, was widely known for his time with the Nigerian national team and for his contributions to club football during his career.
He had a notable career playing for clubs like Espérance Tunis, Sivasspor, Beşiktaş, and Al-Shabab, scoring 65 goals for Espérance Tunis.
