According to reports shared by Tunde Segun, suspected Fulani kidnappers were allegedly identified at Ihotu Park in Benue State while attempting to board a vehicle to Makurdi.


The suspects reportedly encountered a young woman they had allegedly k!dn@pped and later released after a ransom was paid. The woman is said to have recognized both the men and a bag they allegedly took from her during the ordeal.


She reportedly raised the alarm and held on to one of the suspects inside the vehicle, while two others attempted to flee but were later apprehended.


Reports further claim that a Ghana-Must-Go bag containing about ₦11 million was recovered from the vehicle. The manager of Ihotu Park reportedly alerted security personnel, and soldiers and police officers responded to the scene.


The woman reportedly accompanied the suspects to the police station. It is also alleged that the Benue State Governor expressed interest in the case through the Commissioner, after which the suspects were transferred to Makurdi for further investigation.
