2027: NRM Tasks Ogun Members on Aggressive Grassroots Mobilisation

The national leadership of the National Rescue Movement (NRM) has urged members of its Ogun State Executive Committee (SEC) to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts ahead of the party’s upcoming 10-year anniversary and the next electoral cycle.  

The charge was delivered during an executive meeting with state stakeholders, where national leadership extended warm appreciation from the National Chairman to the Ogun State chapter for their continued commitment, dedication, and efforts toward party growth.

Speaking on behalf of the national leadership, National Publicity Officer, Hon. Latsuwa, commended the Ogun State chapter for its steady resilience. He urged members to double their efforts in onboarding new supporters and expanding local membership across all wards in the state.
“We appreciate your commitment and efforts, but we must put in even more work to bring in new members so that our party continues to attract political heavyweights across the nation,” Hon. Latsuwa stated.”

He further highlighted that as the NRM approaches its landmark 10th anniversary next year, the National Executive Committee (NEC) and state executives must remain laser-focused on strategic brand promotion and party visibility.

Addressing the meeting, the National Woman Leader, Hon. Mrs. Olusola Alice Oluwatunmise, emphasized the crucial roles that demographic leaders play in constructing a formidable political structure.

According to her, the long-term success of any political platform relies heavily on two vital leadership positions:

Tasked with actively engaging, empowering, and wooing women across all sectors of society into the party’s fold.

Positioned to leverage every privilege to mobilize, mentor, and bring young citizens—specifically between the ages of 18 and 45—into active political participation.

Concluding the session, party executives reiterated the need for unity and aggressive grassroots outreach as elections approach. Members were urged to return to their local communities and mobilize citizens to “join the moving train” of the NRM to build a strong foundation for future electoral success.
