First Lady Tinubu Supports 12-Year-Old Artist With #10 million Cash Gift




Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has supported a 12-year-old budding artist after the young talent presented her with a portrait of her.
The First Lady's attention was drawn to the artwork from the young artist during the launching of the South West Zonal National Community Food Bank Programme held on Tuesday at the Cultural Centre, kuto,Abeokuta.
  
   The First Lady who acknowledged the presence of the boy while delivering her speech said " i ve noticed you, standing displaying the artwork, let me be done with my address.Seat down.

She later called the boy to the podium and gave him the microphone to speak.
The  12-year-old artist  who introduced himself as a Jss 2 student,said he has over 200 collection of Pencil drawings and would love to have gallery to exhibit his drawings.
The first lady in motherly manner collected the microphone from  him and stated,
"You have to go to school first and complete you education. It has to be a step before another. I am launching endowment for you with the sum of #10 millon.

The Hall erupted in joy and in appreciation, the boy prostrated to show gratitude to the first lady.

The gesture has drawn attention to the First Lady's support for young talents and efforts to encourage children to develop and showcase their creative abilities.
The young artist's presentation of the portrait appeared to be warmly received by Senator Tinubu,.
The development highlights the importance of recognising and encouraging artistic talents among Nigerian children, particularly those who demonstrate exceptional creativity at an early age.
The First Lady has previously been associated with initiatives focused on young people, women and education. She served for 12 years as the senator representing Lagos Central Senatorial District before becoming Nigeria's First Lady in 2023.
The support for the young artist is expected to further encourage the child to pursue the talent and continue developing his artistic skills.
