Kabayel to defend WBC heavyweight title against unbeaten Hysa November 28
WBC heavyweight champion, Agit Kabayel, will defend his title against unbeaten Albanian boxer, Nelson Hysa, on November 28 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The championship bout will take place at the 54,600-capacity Merkur Spiel-Arena, with Kabayel set to make his first defence of the WBC heavyweight crown.
Hysa, 25, heads into the contest with a perfect professional record of 25 wins and no defeats, making him a formidable challenger to the German champion.
Kabayel, who has established himself among the leading contenders in the heavyweight division, will be looking to maintain his unbeaten record and retain the WBC title on home soil.
The fight is expected to draw a large crowd to the Merkur Spiel-Arena, one of Germany's biggest sporting venues.
For Hysa, the bout presents the biggest opportunity of his career as he bids to dethrone Kabayel and claim the WBC heavyweight championship.
Kabayel will, however, have the advantage of fighting in front of his home supporters as he seeks to begin his reign as champion with a successful title defence.
The November 28 clash adds another intriguing contest to the heavyweight boxing calendar, with an unbeaten challenger seeking to upset the champion in Düsseldorf.
