A foremost Community leader and Secretary of the Ogun state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, Dr.Sunday Solarin has urged Ogun State government to give urgent attention to Sports development in Public Schools so as to nurture the younger one and develop their potentials.
He gave the charge recently at the 2023 Inter - House Sports Competition of Wesley Primary School, Ogere, Ikenne Local Government of Ogun State.
Solarin, who was the chairman of the event expressed concern over the deplorable condition of sport facilities in public schools in Ogun state, stressed the need for critical attention to Public Schools Sports in order to help discover the next Olympians like Falilat Ogunkoya, Mary Onyali,Chioma Ajunwa, Tosin Amusan among others.
The fellow of the chartered Institute of Accountant has been contributing to the development of sports in Ogere and Remo land.
